It's happened to all of us.

        Our first KISS 
 

So we have known this for a time A long time  This innocence This pretending This need We only know each other innocently Or do we? We act like it isn't in the air But it's all over the air We both try to pretend everything is OK  That we don't really need this to happen Neither of us want to be the first to risk anything This need of ours is so mutual But why?  Why do we both have to pretend the giant pink elephant isn't in the room? Who has the most to lose? Who wants to make the first move? Who wants to take the risk to enjoy such pleasure? Who will it be?

ok Kyle your a good writer, you are, but you need to understand that your writing style is poetry..say it with me now "pooooeeeetttrrrryyyy" :) and i dont mean to be rude, but you CAN write a story in poetry, but to label a poem as "story" well...thats just backwards.
this has a beautiful question, your hinting but your not telling completely.
And i dont mean to say that All of your writings are poetry, for the most part you got it straight..ish :)
but like, look at how you've placed the spaces, see the lines, the way that the words move before your eyes, that is Poetry my friend.
a story takes you places deep within the imagination or mind's eye of the author, and poetry has a story to it, but its the arrangement of the words.
now as annoying as this is to me :) i cannot help but return to your writings, some of which i stop reading mid-text, because you are a brilliant writer, you just seem to be alittle well...lost.
anyways that is just my naiive opinion. I do not mean to annoy or offend.
