Sparkling Winter

Sparkling Winter

A Poem by lindsay

As the new fallen snow whispers through the trees,
Plumes of black smoke blow out of chimmey's.
We awake then to see
the garden of silvery white-
It so gently fell throughout the frozen night.
Yet the sillvery flakes are still fluttering by
whirling in the wind-above from the sky.

And as I stared I counted
the footsteps in the lane.
It is Christmas time once again.
