Your Presense...Your Absence

Your Presense...Your Absence

A Poem by Kayla

I feel your breath on my neck,

But no face is near.

Your hands caress my body,

And yet they are invisible.

I think,

I cry,

I feel.

My love for you,

Your presense,

Your absence,

Kill.

Do you exist?

Did you ever exist?

I am uncertain,

Of you,

Of me,

Of my mind.

Love it! Very poignient. The photo with it is perfect. The only tiny thing I might say is that the last line - of my mind could be dropped. You are talking about your heart and your feelings. If you stopped on of me I feel like it would be more powerful. Unless you are implying that you may be losing your mind as well in which case you might change it to or my sanity. Idk. I love it either way.

Questions, Questions, Questions....the uncertainty makes this piece worthwhile.
