what be I

what be I

A Poem by Larry Dyson

entwined as ivy english on the oak of futures,

laced by chomp of worm,

lightly color altered by fleeting chlorophyl green,

ebbed to remain earth mother entombed ,

what be I ..the magical mistletoe.

There is the darkness here of what lies ahead... the worm awaiting its due... the thriving life of magic... the moving, growing mistletoe.. Such a myserious confession.
