Ode to canadian stereotypes

Ode to canadian stereotypes

A Poem by Pretty_as_a_Poet
"

Title says it all

"

I like to ride my moose to work

I am a lumberjack

I’m tough as nails, and big and buff,

I don’t need any slack,

I leave the “office” right at six,

Every day’s the same

I come home, flop on the couch and watch the hockey game,

Maple syrup by the gallon,

You know I love my beer,

And when the games not on you know that I’m out hunting deer,

If we meet outside the great white north,

What do you expect me to say?

All these stupid stereotypes,

‘Cause I’m from Canada, Eh?

This made me smile, yeah there are tons of false Canadian stereotypes. They're really so ridiculous. I liked the poem! The ending with the "Eh?" made me laugh. I was going to do something similar to this in my English class but I couldn't have worded it as well. Great job! -from a fellow Canadian
