Warm Hand

Warm Hand

A Poem by Althelia Marie Caine

Through the darkest of times,
the good and the bad,
we dwell on our lives,
the happy and sad,
We all have journies,
we must take,
to finish for our own,
or others sake,
We question our meaning,
our purpose to live,
while others strive,
one may fall,
among the crowds,
so packed and dark,
they cry in the corner,
lonely to embark,
an offer of friendship,
a warm hand to hold,
pulls you from the dark,
to light brighter than gold,
through substancial meaning,
can we not live?
and offer a warm hand of
friendship to give?
