Lies

Lies

A Poem by Leah Mayes

truth is a disguise, it lies

chaos is growing rampant as

my heart sings an empty tune

saying it's final good-bye's

your possession aquired and

I wonder what it cost you

was there a forsaken prize?

this dramatic operetta staring

the slight of hand musician

ignoring my cries

plagerizing the melody of love

a reviling song echos in the forum

clouding my eyes

the convulsive vibrations of wicked conundrums

disturbing an avalanche of resentment

an oppressive shadow enormous in size

spastic revenge dilating guilt

you played me, offkey

and I'm watching as the melody dies

your obnoxious fortissimo turned

to an explosive duet, loathing justice

and proving to be unwise

deemed master of ceremonies

only your vanity is sincere as I

chisel through your lies

Awesome speech flowers.
The malefic face of love, and the music are in great harmony because of the music's symbol of sadness. You kept he euphony perfect, and your thoughts flowing.

Great great great.
