Love is relentless.

Your love seeps into my skin like water

A selective barrier

are the walls of my heart

to which you have permeated.

Notwithstanding

bypassing the defenders

of my better judgement.

I let you blind me

and consume me

Emotion

binds my throat

like tape

when I try to speak

Tears from my eyes

can’t convey 

the anger behind them

I have a point 

waiting to be made

Blocked beneath

the crushing weight

of your trusts

My rage

washed away by the

waves that line my
