the blind puppeteers

the blind puppeteers

A Poem by Jason Buskey
"

more for my true love

"

severed heartstrings

of blind

puppeteers

tying nooses

instead

of knots

i swing

in the space

of pure

empitness

dangling

lifeless

while

my master

calls my name

pump purpose

back into

my lungs

help me

redefine

the broken

edges

pain

discarded

& fear

keeps

buried

the same two

puppeteers

that took

you

from

me
