we will conquer

we will conquer

A Poem by Jason Buskey
"

for my lost love

"

 where are you?

intellect

is all well and good

 brings brief respite

from the overbearing pain

but without you here

flesh blood sound touch

smell, LOVE

IT MEANS NOTHING

MOST TIMES

i feel you out there

watching

in an infinite number

of places at once.

but it brings small comfort

im a selfish animal

i want you here

i want you here

i want you here

futiltiy is a hard lesson

but what else can i  do

but dream

that one day

We will form something

this universe has never seen

we will conquer

we will laugh

let us go

into the dark spaces

hidden from the average

And wait

until the world is ready for us
