If I could hold him I'd never put him down

He hangs his face over the microphone

Thick brown curls flop over his gorgeous face

His glistening green orbs closed, 

Straight white teeth hidden behind singing lips

His tired left hand hangs on the mic

Eyes closed as feelings poor out if his mouth

A waterfall of emotion coming out of him

He sings begging for someone, anyone to never let him go

On his own,

The way he's used to being

On his own

Its tiring

No, its exhausting to be alone

The microphone he sings into says that he has

 A safe place to let out his feelings of loneliness to the world

The screaming girls in the crowd look up at him

Their faces saying "Me! Pick me! You won't be alone anymore if you pick me!"

But he doesn't see them over the blinding lights

They don’t want the boy with tiny curls

Stuck to his head from Cheshire, England

Who sang 'Isn't She lovely' on X-Factor in 2010

They want a tattooed so called 'man w***e'

Who everyone knows and has heard on the radio

And at the end of the day

In the privacy of a tour bus bunk bed

He cries his eyes out into the pillow

The pillow comforting his puffy eyes saying

'I'm the girl whose shoulder you wish you could cry on'

He's crying again, for the simple bittersweet reason

Of feeling alone

When he's done crying

He picks up a guitar and sings

But no one's there to hear him sing or hear him cry

If the people weren't as mean

And made up less lies

Then maybe he wouldn't be alone

"He sleeps with every girl"

"He's a player"

Are just some of the words thrown at this innocent 19 year old boy

These hateful words don't only hurt him

They scare away anyone who's close to bringing

Him away from the status of 'single'

So he returns

To his loyal microphone and begs

In the same tune as always
