Ash

A poem I wrote awhile ago based on "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy. Specifically focused on "ash" motif.

Falling on the ground

making not a sound.

Draining color from everything

never will you hear a bird sing.

Clouding people's sight

it erases the meaning of light.

Stalling progress in every task

and painting black circles on every mask.
