Save Me.

Save Me.

A Poem by Omar
"

This poem touches on the helpless feelings I felt whilst in love with someone who took me for granted, whilst at the same time facing other issues.

"

The rain has fallen, flooding the windows to my soul.

Distort, everything appeared irregular without

The object of my affection.

Petrified by the knife that penetrated cupids instrument,

Twisting and contorting until the crimson flowed

Through my veins no more.

Dead inside, I inhale the air still, feeling nothing but

An insatiable craving.

Tortured by those pearly whites that was no longer my doing.

Consumed by the unbearable truth, your love has faded.

Shattered I lay scattered beneath a bush of thorns,

Waiting for a brave and valiant soul to piece me together.

That soul never came.

Still the insatiable craving persists, its incessant torture

Bringing me closer to insanity with each passing moment.

I cry out for you but the only reply is silence.

Please, someone save me.
