Contemplation

A personal reflection on life, happiness, sadness, hate and kindness

Why? Why does it have to be this way? Why do we have to age?… forget what we did five minutes ago, yesterday? …. But yet remember days long ago. Passed. Like they were yesterday.

None of us are timeless…. Don’t we wish we were? Or, maybe not…. Life’s tough, yet beautiful…. Days of gratitude, forgiveness, happiness, and fulfillment…. Days of despair, helplessness, sadness, and scorn…

Our lives are a circle, all intertwined. Our spirits are the vibration of our universe. We all are one.

We must remind ourselves to live each day loving ourselves and living kindly…. Today may be our last day…. We must forgive ourselves every day when we feel we fall short.

So I give thanks for being a part of this world during the time I am present. I am humbled to have been given the opportunity to be a part of every day. Should there be another opportunity to personally engage in this world, be it past, present, or future I promise to give my best.  8/31/2021  'lil dot
