Dont Let Go

if only i could lay up there with you
forever wandering with no where to go,
but places to be

If only that fleating sence of security,
happiness, would stand still,
still as time all around us

If only the darkness were not lurking in the
mist surrounding us,
waiting for time to let me slip away
from its loving touch

Always silent, unrelenting
sometimes i would forget
time knows no bounds here with you

If only you could be there beside me
If only you were there to guide me

Dont know how I missed this Gem .
The words flow softly, tenderly as
honey flows from the comb.
It is hard to stop reading when one
finds sweetness and the tenderness
of true loving affection in a piece of
literature. This is one of those writings
that will remain imbedded for a life time.

This poem is so beautiful, yet so sad. My grandma died recently, and so this poem really speaks to me. Its almost as if this is the poem I've been trying to write, but unable to. I love the gentleness and tranquility, and the way your poem flows.
