i felt

truth comes to light in the heat of the moment

 the way the pain ripped through my intestines 
and made its pain stabbing way to my heart
made my eyes begin to water
in pain, agony and heartache
i felt alive again 

i felt. 

the feeling in my lips went numb
my arms became limbs of nothingness
and all i could think was 
"how could he not even care"

i felt.

i didn't like how my nerves began to twitch
and my heart began to race
all i needed was a little time 
all he did was close down the emotions inside his heart
no sadness no dispair nothing

i broke.

i cried
he cried
i still couldn't bring myself to love him

I like it. It is very realistic, and the short blunt words towards the end build up the emotional tension.
