Poison

Poison

A Poem by Kate
"

of hypocrites and thieves

"

she sings of
traitors,

murderers

and thieves

she sings of

liars,

of unforgivable

deeds

she sings of

poison,

and of slow

painful death

"be careful,"
I warn her
"you sing

of yourself."

A great shock for the hypocrite singer, but a soothing comfort for the honest people.

:O ghasp. That was an amazing dramatic end to a wonderful pem. I thought of a gypsy for some odd reason. Methinks the flow was very nice. I love the lines that go, "of unforgivable deeds." Assonance is wonderful and constant. :D
