Disease

Disease

A Poem by Kate
"

instead of being there for one another, we are tearing each other apart

"
soulless bodies
half  alive
no ability
to love
no ability
to smile
animal instinct
each man
for himself
tear mindlessly
at the flesh
of other
rotten beings.

Brave speech.
Concise work.
Great read.

Somehow this poem seems like it should have been the epigraph for the whole book of "Lord of the Flies". Don't you agree? If we give in to the natural instinct of mankind, things will go horribly, horribly wrong. The entire world would be in ruins, and every human being would be like an animal. So glad I'm a Christian :-). Great job!
