Being Just Being

all the sights are the same
the eyes are what's different
all the sounds are the same
the ears are what's different

all the natural world is the same
it's our mind's that are different

the law of perspective
all observable phenomena

does exists as it does

'unchanging' moral principles
the basis for human conduct

across oceans of time

        exists as we make it

but how close can we get
to the truth of our neighbors

to the lies of our enemies 

to the true essence of our lovers

some based upon laws
inherent to creation

others based upon beliefs
constructs from mentation 

one lies in harmony with our nature
limited by pure understanding
always rooted in absolute knowledge

the other complied with for reasons
always based upon transient fears
rooted in temporal remunerations  

what is eternal and immutable

what does change with a time

as being very correct

within a context of a construct

against being and just being

as you within yourself as yourself

     

     in it's place within the nature

           you were born from

              slicked in the afterbirth of the truth

                from the flesh and the blood

 of what you came from

yes this difference can be hidden

but only from yourself

for reasons all your own

as choice is reality

so your reality is a choice

You should get into Thommy Merton. ""The Way of Chuang Tzu" by Thomas Merton. Put it in your bathroom, you'll finish it in two months or so.

Its truly just the eyeball, the retina and the brain, in that order. The interpretation of an image, now that's a different thing. That's where lies the reality, as you say, of a man. I must say it is truly a phenomenal subject. Many lifetimes would not be enough to study it, get to the truth of it.
