Incomplete Like Gödel

Incomplete Like Gödel

A Poem by David george
"

Based off my interpretation of a thing called Gödel's Incompleteness Theorem

"
In the gap between proof and truth
Lies [a set within a set within a set
within a set within THE set of
ALL sets within a set within a set]
So for this next statement to be true
The previous statement indeed must be false
And maybe every even number
is indeed the sum of two primes
But you will never show me
And I will never show you
Each and every time

Wow, this is great! I really like the theme, pointing out that there is a difference between a subjective and objective truth, eventually challenging the existence of words and numbers - things that we are so certain that exist. Or maybe it's just my interpretation. Either way, nice job :)

There are some many truths in the world and as many falsehoods

Science is truth and everything else comes in as opinion or delusion.

There is a madness to this write that is vast and complex: my opinion,
which, to another, holds no truth.

I feel your imagination in this one.

Keep Pushing!

How interesting. I am completely bewildered. And more than a little confused. But you definitely gave me something to think about, a Rubix cube of a poem. Hopefully, I'll wrap my head around it at some point.
