I've definitely questioned my mortality more than once since the death of my best mates wife, Deb. That rocked me to the core.
Having turned 60 on 30/04 I know I've now got to start making time for me and the good lady so that I don't end up gasping for breath and thinking " f**k, I wish I'd done that"

Am off to Bordeaux Monday to take part in a charity cycle ride with 40 others, this to raise money for two charities. ..800km over 5 days, part of this taking in the foothills of the Pyrenees, should ruin my arse and test my newly turned 60 year old heart...you would love it, we stop at breweries, wineries, and are taking lunch in the small village of a French fella that cycles with us, he will ride in like a returning hero :))

I'm already smiling. Have been blocked A few times myself over the last month for reasons known only to the blockee, would be nice if they have a reason first :))

Eat some pineapple the night before. It helps with muscle endurance when you do long distance stuff.
