The Way You Look At Me

The Way You Look At Me

A Poem by littlekinglord

Playing with words to make a little rap

The way you look at me
light as a feather
eyes locked on each other
the dislike from your brother
makes me miss my mother
the way you look at me
makes my heart stop
and stand for a while
and your smile
makes me crumble into a pile
as we row across the nile
and you turn me like a dial
as we run for a mile
the way you look at me
makes my heart skip
like I'm taken a dip
into death
as I take my last breath

You did indeed. Last line was a bummer, though.
