~The Day I Moved Out~
By: Paige Taylor
It was funny
There was a time when I actually believed,
That life could not get any harder.
Here I stand corrected, yet again.
If only I had known,
What would lie ahead.
If only I had a clue
Of the obstacles I would have to face.
Nobody told me
But it was now made clear-
The pain I would have to endure.
I wander homeless,
With no love
And worst of all,
No family.
This is the reason
That I long to die
By the hand of the man
Who had once given me the hope I needed most-
A home.

Do not flatter yourself,
For I do not long for your touch.
I do long to be beaten.
I want to bruise.
I long to bleed.
Beat me to death,
I am begging you please.
Tis no fun to live,
With no love
And worst of all
No home.

I have faith,
You know how to hide me.
What are you waiting for?
You can take my life,
I know that you can.
You have my word,
You will not be blamed.
Your experienced mind,
Can make it appear
Only to be
An unfortunate suicide.

Hi there! As far as genres go, my preference leans more towards short stories and poetry. I tend to really appreciate writings that express varying degrees of darkness, despair, and desperation. In o.. more..
