Ice

Ice

A Poem by Olivia Hobson

It is cold,

Though it gives me fire.

It is slippery,

Though I feel in complete control while on it.

It is dangerous,

Though I am at ease upon it.

It causes pain to some,

Though it eases mine.

It is moldable,

Though it molds me.

The ice holds my history.

Olivia Hobson
I've spent half of my life on ice; it deserved a poem.

Nice. Wait...you write poetry? I like the contrast between the way the ice treats some and the way the ice treats you. The ice brings me pain unfortunately.
