Fire

Fire

A Poem by the in between

I walk around
with a flame of fire
scorched on top of my head.
As I stride it grows higher and higher
getting complex caught on firey flames
the roaring grows louder and louder
I can't hear the people shouting around me
firemen leap with their massive water hose
aim it at my flame
still, they can't put it out.
I keep striding.
without noticing the destruction around me.
Uncaring, and my eye on nothing.
I'll soon burn out
disappear.
