A Poem by Charles Konsor

The tea half drunk,
The tags ripped off,
The room now empty,
Save me and my memroy.

I shiver despite the heater,
My body confused.
Calm now,
Angry now,
Fearing the future now.

The night will be sleepless,
My mood never fixed.
Take the pictures down quick.
Remove the words you wrote,
Not so long ago.
"I miss you already."

Now new words:
"Goodbye, Charlie."

Oh, why must you use my name?
Why must you say it with those red eyes?
Why must you hold me so long?

And now I hear footsteps on the porch,
And I hope.
I listen for the door,
Anticipate the key I gave you.

I imagine an embrace,
Imagine words of regret,
Barely heard through sobs.

The footsteps are still now,
I hear the keys shake.

For three moments I wait,
Before the neighbor's door opens,
And the footsteps disappear.

Owner of WC...

I think that I have some rules for you for Writer's Cafe:

1) If you have a problem, please write to Charles Konsor, the owner
2) Your messages get through better if you post them in public,
3) A (mod) after a name means that they are a moderator for Writer's Cafe,
4) The picture of the tree will be made color for default setting of writing for Writer's Cafe, an
5) The kapka to fight Internet bots will be for delete, edit, or add writing to protect the authenticity of the work.

That's all for now. If you need me, you can call me, and I am interested in helping you with programming and also with moderating here on WC.

And, I have to warn you that I occasionally go after nearly psychotic people that are harassing writers and abusing them with harsh language.

I dislike internet trolls, these people as I understand it - trolls.

I have a couple of issues for you for programming if I remember them in time.

1) When you delete a file, shouldn't the document be removed from the database and not turn up if you put the address of the page in the web address slot on the browser?

2) I forget.

I see that you are a moderator, and I guess your testing it out could be this:

RULE: If you comment on your own work, the first one in time is a featured review of your own work and lists first. I don't see that happening in my listing of this poem.

I did some web programming and can help. You can write me here publicly or in on-site email. I don't want to publish my direct contact information on the Internet, yet. Maybe never.

I have volunteer time and am interested in being a moderator here.

Glad to see you have something to write. If that is a girl you miss personally, I have faith she will be back. Have you tried the I Ching to do a prophecy of hope? I did that for somebody; asked the I Ching if a girl that left him would be back.

If you lost a girl, I am so, so, so sorry for you. Good luck, and hope to hear from you soon. I have enough time at this time to read my incoming WC email and reviews, all of them. And, I sent you my address and also my email, my personal email, I think. I can understand if you don't have time to read all the comments you get.

Best of luck to you!
