The Rest of My Heart

The Rest of My Heart

A Poem by JoJo Q. Finsburry
"

Kind of embarrassed at this one, i've always been stupidly attracted to crazy, and back when i was in high school when my gf flipped out i was sure that i could fix anything ... you can't fix stupid.

"
Talk to me, tell me your fears
Tell me your dangerous dreams.
Let me see why you cry.
I really care and I need to know.
Forget the pain and look to the future.
Tell me of all your uncertainties.
I can make it better, you will never know regret.
The sun comes up in the morning
And the sun goes down and eventually away.
But I'll never forget the pain of this morning sun
Reflecting off the streams
running down your face.
I love the way they remind me of the morning dew
Witch cries over the loss of the comforting night
and looks hopefuly toward the next.
I know I don't understand your sorrows
But I can try to sympathize
If you want to let me.
I need to know, let me know
Let me see the wound and try to heal it.
Let me soothe, and kiss the skin's
break.
I need to help, to solve your life's qualms and compunctions.
I feel so much for you, for you are indeed,
My life, my love, and the rest of my heart.
