Wish I Knew.

Wish I Knew.

A Poem by lorrainelobotomy

Leaves have all fallen,

grass turns brown,

summer hearts still beat,

winter comes unnannounced

Get me out of this town.

The leaves falling and the grass turning brown, then Winter coming seems to tell of reality crashing over, like dreams are dying, nothing's happening, you're not getting anywhere. Sometimes you just have to get out, no matter what the cost.
I feel that way quite a lot.
