I AM A STUDENT

I am a student. A student of life. 

I've learned from my mistakes, from my falls, from people that made me feel diminished, unsecured, scared, doubtful, from challenging circumstances of life, from every time I was forced to get out of my comfort zone, from hurtful, self-centered, unkind people. While in the middle of the storm, in a roller coaster of emotions, tripping, falling, crawling, doing my best to keep moving forward, it felt as if there was no light at the end of the tunnel. I never realized what a good lesson life was giving me; that the scars building up within me were setting me up to be resilient. All lessons learned, rough people, taught me how NOT to be, what not to do to others that's unkind and judgmental. It taught me how to unravel my own potential, to find myself, to flourish the good in me, not what others would think of me. I've learned to love and nourish myself to love others, not to judge myself, to not judge others, to listen to my heart, my inner voice, to be honest with myself so I could be honest with others, to understand myself so I could understand others. 

Life is built of experiences, relationships, ups and downs, moments of joy and moments of sadness, uncertainty, hope and faith. This is LIFE! Never give up no matter what you are going through, keep up ongoing and strive to be happy. With Love, Lourdes.
