This moment nowA Poem by Louisa Chanin remembrance of my dadThis moment now, the hour is shredded into shimmering
shingles A million flakes shed off my skin before another cycle While billions others flow inward in a circle And an intricate web of lights in my head twinkle Spring breezes visit and bring to the terrace A guest butterfly fluttering o’er a new level Decorated with her freshly laid pearls Life has grandly began another cycle Invisible planets roaring on out there as usual Circling one another and another Your name once touched down on Earth for a moment Now lingering amongst the stars perpetual I summon all you’ve left imperceptible from hidden corners of the universe My eyes brim with shimmering shingles At this moment now is eternal © 2022 Louisa ChanReviews
