Things I Needed To say...

Things I Needed To say...

A Poem by Luissanto
"

Written by Louis Saint Verges

"

I ask myself the question

If my words you can hear

As I fall on my knees

with my eyes filled with tears

You took me and you raised me

as one of your own

taking me from your son

to give me love and a home

Though my father loved me

he loved his drugs more

Your heart severely broken

when he left out the door

but before he walked out

he put me in your arms

A six week old baby

to protect me from harm

and as the years went by

you were always there

to love me and to hold me

and show me that you care

Showing me how to love

and teaching me how to live

teaching me compassion

and how to forgive

but now you are gone

and by your grave, I kneel

and I cant find the words

to express how I feel

So I lay down these flowers

not knowing what to say

except I'll miss you and I'll love you...

Forever and a day

This is so heartwarming and touching.. and I know, these are such common words that do not do justice to the love, the admiration, the respect, and the appreciation for this angel that you have expressed here... anything I say will pale in comparison to the amount of heart and meaning within your pieces.. You touch the reader in such a way that it is indescribable.. It is like you hold my heart in your hands and inject it with profound emotion that you want to evoke.. I am just helpless to the intensity and feelings that overtake my soul.. I absolutely love the voice, the spirit that shines through each and every one of your writes.. you write from that "real" place and you hit me just as deep... I am a fan.. and that is real, sincere, and honest..

There are those special people in our lives, who come in and touch it with such goodness, light, and joy when things are so dark that they hold such a cherished part of our memories, our lives, and our soul.. These people makes us better, they show us love, and they teach us the importance of life... That little piece of heaven that they leave with us carries us through the roughest of storms and keeps our liny flicker of hope burning and encourage us to continue... This is a beautiful tribute to one such special person in your life..
