The Eyes

The Eyes

A Poem by Mary

Their watching you, you know

Every day and night

Even in the misty moon light,

You come and go

They always know

Oh, how they give me a fright,

The eyes they see

Everything you’ve done to me

You cannot stop the eternal sight.

This is a wonderful poem! The fear and bottled up anger blend perfectly well together. I especially liked the last line; "You cannot stop the eternal sight." Brilliant! So much was said in such a short poem, great job!
