Time

Time

A Poem by Mary
"

A poem i wrote while waiting for my microwavable meal to stop cooking...enjoy:)

"

Tick tock goes the clock

Above my pretty little head,

It is time that I truly dread.

Bye bye, my precious time

Oh how you were spent

Lying in my bed,

I sing to you from never never land.

Can you hear my voice?

Oceans away

On the time of tomorrow,

Oh how I miss you so

My silly lost time.

But now I know

The truth of the matter,

And I will not shatter

The days to come.

you're reason behind this makes it so much better. It is the random things that inspire writing... very fun!

LOOOOOOOOOOOVED IT! Really good write. I loved the line "I sing to you from never never land." It is very strong and brings a magickal beat to it! Keep writing!!!

excellent piece, like the theme. Keep at it, let your voice be heard.

Beautiful poem by the beautiful and talented author herself! It was a little too depressing to me, though. But, other than that, it was really good!!!!!!!

its a very good poem and interesting. i like the metaphors and meanings.

I like this poem. Its as if you are realizing and regret how much time you let slip by, feeling as if you've wasted it. Nicely done.

A cute little poem that has some deeper, metaphoric meanings underneath. Nicely done. My only suggestion would possibly be to take out some of the "time" words...possibly in the third stanza. Overall, a cute little piece!
