Fighting spirit

Fighting spirit

A Poem by Lestat's daughter
"

THis was written for a writing contest if it doesn't make sense to you nbd.

"

I see a warrior gaining his trophy.

I see two spirits sharing the same mind.

I see two creatures of nature fighting for life.

I see friends of mother earth.

I hear two souls fighting for survival.

I hear a war cry that sends birds flying.

I hear two friends dancing to the same drum

I hear a moment of silence, respectful to one another.

I see a warriors spirit in both bodies.

I see the circle of life running through both of them

I see two lives completely different yet so alike.

I see two warriors fighting for survival.

I understand it or believe I do... I take it as two people from different worlds at odds not realizing they are the same in many ways... thats what I take from this piece.

I just read a very strong completion of words.

This is a bit transformational for you, and fascinating. You evidence true insight into the circle nature extends over everything. Very touching. Thanks for sharing.

For a vampire lover/writer you did a wonderful job with this
photo prompt.

"I see a warriors spirit in both bodies.

I see the circle of life running through both of them

I see two lives completely different yet so alike.

I see two warriors fighting for survival."

These are my favorite lines of the poem, though I enjoyed it all.
Thank you so much for your entry into the "Picture Poem This (2)" Writing Contest.
Good Luck!!
