The Nightmaer Diagnosis

The Nightmaer Diagnosis

A Poem by Czar Lyrus
"

A poem inspired by a very bad dream of mine...

"

One violent, stormy night I had a dream

A nightmare when I lost you forever

I last saw your eyes and there precious gleam

It wasn’t real, it didn’t matter!

Then why did I pine away with all those thoughts

Thoughts of a world filled with your absence?

Why, then, with arrows of pain was I shot,

And sent into my own realm of silence?

Cast into these moonlit water’s I’ll wait

Hoping that the sun will rise and warm me

To clear the fog and make the storm abate

I’d like you voice, so quiet and calming

So, then, what is this trouble that ails me?

It’s nothing!-I’m just filled with love, you see!

I really liked it. It was sad and longing at first, but then you turned it around in the end to make it hopefull and full of love. I loved the rhyme scheme and you successfully carried it throughout the poem well. It was emotional, powerful, and it flowed perfectly. Great job, I loved it!
