Accept

Accept

A Poem by Mister T.
"

Maybe one day, one day I will.

"

Slowly but steadily

I’ve come to accept

What my eyes have been hiding,

And then

I’d come to accept

The feelings I was given,

And in the end

I’ve come to accept

The stone-cold reality.

Thank you for your review!
Beautiful! I liked the fact that you were able to present such a strong opinion in only nine lines. It's not easy and you did it marvelously.

Beautiful. Liked the message it tried to portray while being short and subtle at the same time. Indeed, appearances can be deceptive and what seems cannot be what it really is. :)

Dope. Short simple sweet and to the point. At some point in time i think we all face the realization of reality

Indeed, sometime we will. Thanks for the review!
Pretty deep poem considering how short it is. Accepting the world around you can be hard, but it has to be done before you can do something about it. Good job!

Acceptance is the first step in moving forward with your life. It's one of the hardest things to do. I love this poem, it's very simple, but powerful. Accepting things is part of progression, it helps us improve, and endure. Acceptance is so very important, so I like that you decided to write a poem about it! Very nice, well done!

Thank you for your kind words!
Such sad emotion in just a few short words. Acceptance is wonderful but, to me, once you have accepted that things are the way they are then you have the power to change those things too if at all possible. Try!
