Chapter 14 

After Grammy left, I got up to take a shower. A nice hot one too. I got in, and I was relieved. I was singing my favorite song, and dancing, hiding the pain from my shoulder. Even though I was... naked, I had fun in the shower. Weird right? The most fun I have had in a long time. Once I got out, there was a letter on my bed.

Mom. 

I opened it quick. It read, "Dear Milly, I miss you too. I am sorry I didn't write back right away. I was very busy helping out with work. I heard about what happened. I am so sorry honey. Hope you feel better. I Love you. -Mom." I cried. I got dressed, and got out a piece of paper. I wrote down all my feelings. "Dear Mom, It hurts so bad, now I am safe. I wish you could come visit.. I keep asking.. but I don't know. I miss you. Love you. - Milly." Signed, Sealed, not delivered. I called for a nurse, and then she took the letter to send it to mom. I waited.

By now, I was ready to let go, and run to Mom.
