A Poem by Reflection

Life in darkness..............

Meet me beneath the moon,

that’s where the still of

the night dwells.

Man has prowled around

in darkness a lifetime,

and well?

It is surely the

King of pain, sorrows

do come easy.

Every inch of darkness

is exposed by the

light in due time.

no wonder

sex is better in the

midnight hour,

something titillating about

doing dirty deeds

out of plain sight

without shame, without

inhibition, without fear; exhilaration is

birthed from the boom!

the enemy drops bombs

of napalm on the unsuspecting

just after the stars have assembled.

Shadows exist in the light

of day, only then are

they non-threatening,

or are they? There’s a reason

Death is always dressed in black;

even at noon.

Darkness=evil, The Light=goodness. Ingrained in us since time unmemorable. Devil, God. Cowboys, the black hat, the white hat...and more. Your writing always makes me think. And that's not an easy thing to do! lol

HAHA! Thank you for commenting!
Deep thoughts...I'm a bit of a night owl. My favorite part is morning before sun rises....the quietness of it all yet there was madness proceeding those hours. Great read and good work, Gus.
