Rain-droppings

Rain-droppings

A Poem by Maggie ;))
"

Hey :) This is a poem I wrote on a rainy day. It includes quotes about rain and then I question those quotes a little! Enjoy :)

"
Not one raindrop takes responsibility for the flood.
Would it have still been able to call itself a flood if one less water drop fell from the sky?

Rain is just god crying. Thunder and lightning are just angels bowling.
What if rain was all the tears people have ever shed? What if lightning was the power of love and thunder every humans' heartbeat?

Into each life some ran must fall.
How much rain will come down before one learns a lesson? Before they have had enough to last forever?

When you pray for the rain, you must deal with the mud as well.
But what happens if the mud makes the rain not worth your prayer? It makes you wonder if you honestly needed a day of rain in the first place.
