SUNSET

SUNSET

A Poem by Jeanie
"

Ducklings!

"

SUNSET

Ducklings romping to and fro
Fiery sun sets lake aglow
Shimmering, shining, sparkling wet
Gleaming radiance, sun's first set.

Majestic brilliance on the wane
Colors blend, no hue the same.
So very slowly, orb descending
Red, orange, and purple never ending.

Soft and muted, last rays shine
Lake reflects just one more time
Sun and moon and stars now one
At last the end of day has come.
