To the god of sudden smiles,
and hearts where resides.
To the god of sudden smiles,
and the secret that his gift hides.
a gift,
that relives every cold winter
as an unfathomable pain,
and is heard in every silence,
as a malicious midnight rain.

To the god of sudden smiles,
and the memories that he creates.
To the god of sudden smiles,
and the illusions he speculates.
illusions,
where truth and delusion seem to merge,
and questions out of nothing emerge.
whose fatal beauty is rarely spoke,
that creates joy and hearts broken.

To the god of sudden smiles,
the biggest liar of them all.
To the god of sudden smiles,
who fabricates secrets, both vast and small.
secrets,
the ones of joy ad the ones of grief,
the ones of vast ad the ones of brief,
the ones told shall leave just pain,
which shall be dead, and perhaps be born again.

Through the pain and hardships, we suffer and must endure in our life. A ray of hope and a glimmer of sunshine breaking can transcend into a massive big smile. And make you feel renewed uplifted and joyous once again. And to help carry us along that weary path called life.

I like it. I like the repetition of the title. It flows well. Easy to read.

Very nice, sometimes I pretend to be happy but I am not. Or when someone makes me a bad meal, I pretend I like it so I don't hurt their feelings.
