when silence is loudly heard

when silence is loudly heard

A Poem by Sawdust
"

listen no one is speaking

"
Ever heard a ticking clock?
when no one is anyway near.
Ever heard of your punctual heart?
when even a soul is not present there.
When even wings' fluttering voice is heard,
early in morning, long before birds.
Ever heard escaping wind,
from your chest, after time long?
Ever heard croon of a bird,
when to your own company only you belong?
when far from fabrications of world you've been,
at dusk, when the first star is seen.

Ever heard of whispering wind?
when it kisses you brief.
ever heard of words said long ago,
that brought smiles love anger and grief ?
when dark rejoices this whole world,
at night when silence is loudly heard.

That's true. Silence can be absolutely deafening at times. There's just so many things that should be said, but aren't. It's awfully nice to hear someone point that out so eloquently. As a side note, the picture you posted to go with this poem, really gives me the creeps. Imagine all the spiders in that room!

Silence is a beautiful aura to live in. It is the time when beautiful thoughts stream into your creative mind and give birth to such beautiful poems! Loved it.
