the silk cotton life

the silk cotton life

A Poem by Sawdust

beauty lies in a moment

It’s cold and dry in year’s month second,
when a bud, green in born .
Flame of forest, as it is known,
and as a jewel in woods it is adorned.

It’s  spring to bloom when buds tassel,
and green buds grow red,
little buds grow into a petaled wonder,
like a dream come true, as wise men said.

But the rule of earth, resistant and strong,
tells that nothing lasts for long.
A fortnight ends, and so does an aura,
to perish flowers in a beautiful song.

I have studied abt silk cotton tree and so I'll firstly say that it's very wisely written :)
And secondly that it's very beautiful. The end is very nice and leaves you thinking that how true it is that one day everything will really end.
