A Poem by The Musings of Mary H.
"

my first villanelle

"

And he lost it all
Went towards the fray
Now he is bound to fall

To them he seemed so small
Told him he could not stay
And he lost it all

So he punched boys tall
Mean words he did say
Now he is bound to fall

Then he grabbed the ball
Told them he will play
And he lost it all

Thrown against the wall
He could not speak to pray
Now he is bound to fall

A steep penalty to pay
For demanding his own way
And he lost it all
Now he is bound to fall

The Musings of Mary H.
Tell me what you think. I enjoyed doing this and look forward to doing more difficult villanelles.
