Maybe this nothing,

but I feel like it’s something.

I always search too deeply to find meaning.

Maybe that isn’t really living.

How would I know?

Something about us together makes me remember.

It fills me up, oh sweet nostalgia!

It burrows into me, 

echoing in the hollows of my heart like an old song.

Being with you gives me chills 

of memories that never happened.

I want more and more of this,

I am greedy for experience.

I long to see new places, new things.

You are barely familiar,

Yet we are so similar

Funny how these things happen.

I love you.

Not in violent, jealous sort of way, 

nor in a melancholy, lovesick one. 

I love you the way one loves a best friend.

These are pretty much just direct thoughts after an experience. Nothing very insightful about life, just some of my musings put into words. I happy yet wistful kind of love.

This is beautifully written. I love how this makes sense and yet at the same time, it defies logic. It's something I can relate to. In the third line, "too deep" should be "too deeply."

Feelings of de ja vu with someone you've never even met, I know that feeling well. I feel like this when there is a celebrity whose character I fall in love with or when a stranger does something that catches me and we lock eyes, as if like you said: sharing memories that never existed.
