Tree of Sorrow

Tree of Sorrow

A Poem by Marriah
"

Addiciton, from a loved one's perspecive.

"

Wait for the pain
Wait for the tomorrow
As I climb this tree;
A tree of sorrow.

It's branches cut deep
It hurts so I howl
At midnight tonight
No knowledge for owl.

The bark is rough;
Nature within
Children play
Our journey begins.

Sprout green leaves
Give me hope for the day
Winter comes along
I watch you betray.

The hopes I had
The plans I made
Watching you fall
I never forgave.

This is for you,
My tree of sorrow
I'll leave you alone
I need my tomorrow.
