A poem for a lost friend

Left, someone so dear to me

Still hard I could not let it be

Hurt I cannot hold back the tears

The thoughts everyday, the fears

Memories, cannot forget

Mind, if you try to get

Each day beginning with a sorry

Bed, sleepless nights for you

Smiles, those moments together 

Washed the happiness when I remember 

That anger is what you have now

For me, my question how

Or maybe why should it be 

Sometimes the questions I donnot care

But loosing you, I swear I dare

Not to, please I beg

Do not let this be the end

For you are my friend

Your poem had me thinking about tunnel thought. Those sleepless nights and days that begin with a sorry. Felt you had to leave but didn't want to. I've had a few of those friends.
