Ly'in through the tooth

Ly'in through the tooth

A Poem by Matthew James Ginn
"

why is the real person that we like and who is the intrusion of mind?

"

Deep dusty confusion
longing awaiting intrusion
im like a golf bag caddy
cramped but crazy
Dont you play me
Annabelle

Screech marks on the pavement
With your one buck tooth
Scimpering with amazement
Your're Ly'in through your tooth
That you and your Dixie Pa enjoy

Just feel
be real
Stop breathing for just a second
And think
that drink
will destroy more than just your liver.

This special sentiment of mine
jives the inner bird in me
I dont care if im farther than you thought
from the nest
Ill fly farther than the rest
I promise i wont let down
till you hear the sound
of the crowd
you never thought would have existed
