Living Space

Living Space

A Poem by Matthew James Ginn
"

You have a life.

"
LIVING SPACE

A green river basking in the morning sun
down a bluebird calls
alone a doe does run
a field of violets, its journey done

The glass star in her soul awaits
the fire of thought keeps her awake
green river parts the runs dry
sail of seconds can arise
upon the birth of present guise

black boldness rushes the night
crack! crack!
the harmony defiance
crack! crack!
Shiloh is that you who calls?

predestined path of a painter far prevents
Canvas revoked in a summers dream
crack! crack!
a land call up calls upon to me
violent peace from lady wisdom
washed in the tides, fragile moon sea
crack! crack!
