Fame; Representation

Fame; Representation

A Story by Brody Childs
"

A view of fame in general.

"
When I saw the Mythbusters live I was ecstatic about finally seeing a
"famous" person in the flesh. As they stepped foot on the stage,
however, I realized something. They, and all famous people, are exactly
as they are described: "people." These individuals just represent
something bigger than themselves at face value. Their fame is
nonexistent if one does not know of their TV shows or movies. Through
their presentations these people become symbols of what they do. The
Mythbusters are famous for their creations and actors are famous for
their movies.
